About Dr Jennifer Cross
Dr. Cross began her medical training in Edinburgh, Scotland, before moving to London in 1996 to complete her specialty training. She earned her PhD researching the effects of renal failure on blood vessels, a topic that continues to drive her clinical focus and research interests.
With a profound interest in the impact of renal disease on vascular health — one of the most significant risks to patients — Dr. Cross has been a pivotal figure in advancing renal services. At the Royal Free London, she has led the dialysis team for many years, overseeing the development of three new NHS dialysis units. Currently, she serves as the Clinical Director for North Central London, guiding renal care for the region.
